Miami Law Mindfulness in Law Program

A primary mission of the the Mindfulness in Law Program is the integration of mindfulness across the law school community and the university. As the ancient saying teaches that “wherever you go, there you are,” mindful awareness is implicit in much that we do and can enhance much of the law school experience for all its participants.

The opportunity for mindfulness to be a powerful and important part of the law school curriculum is greatly enriched through the collaborative process. One of the great benefits of the Miami Law tradition is the importance place on interdisciplinary and collaborative efforts.

We are always looking for ways to collaborate both within the law school and across the campus. Please contact us if you are interested in exploring ways we might work together.
Many of the mindfulness offerings have been inspired by the collaborative efforts of members of the Miami Law faculty and across the University community, including the Department of Psychology, the Lowe Art Museum, the Counseling Center, the Frost School of Music, The Miller School of Medical, The School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the Wellness Center. Visit the University's Mindfulness Research & Practice Initiative to learn more about these cross-university collaborative endeavors.
